Login experience Windows 10 – version 1809

I just wanted to share the login experience for Windows 10 – 1809, with a domain-joined account. Well actually the machine does not get domain-joined during this process, but you get to create a local administrator account!

So why it is called like this, I don’t know.

As always with Microsoft, everything just takes a moment. And well actually this process doesn’t take to long altogether.

Choose your region

Then your keyboard, and you can add several even at this stage.2019-01-09 22_27_37

Something important 😉

Then the interessting part, the User. You can login with a Microsoft account (M365 or O365), but it can’t be a Microsoft MSA account (i.e. hotmail.com, live.nl or outlook.com et cetera)

Because if you try that:

So click: ‘Domain join instead‘

Then you have to fill out 3 security question. Keep in mind that the answers are CaSe-SensiTive….

And you are entering the Privacy chapter 😉
